About
2010 Conference Theme: Igniting Growth.
This year’s conference was held at the Toronto Congress Centre on Monday, May 31 and Tuesday, June 1.
STORE 2010 looked at new possibilities, a fresh outlook and strategies to accelerate growth. Now is the time to take advantage of past experience and turn it into positive momentum for the future.
From its innovative, information-packed sessions to its unique exhibit hall experience showcasing retail’s leading suppliers, STORE — Canada's Retail Conference, is the must-attend event of the year for retailers across Canada.
Over 600 retail executives, management teams, suppliers and vendors attend the two-day annual event, which provides them the rare and valuable chance to network with a diverse group of industry leaders and celebrate the accomplishments of some of the industry’s most successful leaders at the annual Excellence in Retailing Awards Dinner. Additional features of STORE include the exciting and interactive Silent Auction, whose proceeds go directly towards the Retail as a Career Scholarship fund, and the Education Centre, which enables delegates to keep in touch with the office while at the same time participating in a variety of fun games at the interactive gaming station.
In 2009, STORE focused on solutions for battling the recession and getting through the volatile and ever-shifting economic environment. Session topics included Retail Sustainability by David Cheesewright, President & CEO, Wal-Mart Canada Corp.; Inspiring Retail Managers and Getting Better Results by Kevin Graff, President, Graff Retail; Mountain Co-op: Equipped for Performance, by David Labistour, CEO, Mountain Equipment Co-op; and much more!
